Solas is a male elven mage that is a romance only available to female elven characters. Where They Are First Encountered: During 'The Wrath of Heaven' quest on a frozen river in the Frostback Mountains, near the Temple of Sacred Ashes.
You and Solas then aid each other in your shared mission of sealing The Breach. The player encounters Solas (and Varric) as they are fighting some shades and assists them. Initial Relationship: Solas is a wizard, and expert in the Fade, who is allied with the Inquisition.
